What you should never do of course, if you are a man looking to partner off with a woman, is to palm her off with a cheap gift – at least not one that looks as though it is cheap and was grabbed without a second’s thought. That is a recipe for disaster if ever I saw one coming! If you must be cheap, then buy a good quality gift that is small and inexpensive, but at least looks like it was bought with a little thoughtfulness and that any self respecting person would not feel uncomfortable receiving!
That way you have the best of both worlds. There are plenty of jewelry items that can be picked up for a reasonable price that both look good and give the impression that they are worth wearing and this includes any silver jewelry. There are also loads of soft cuddly toy gift ideas just screaming out at you whenever you enter a card shop or store. Cute little dogs or cats or even bears (still a firm favorite) always go down well with the “ahh” factor when making your move to get to know someone of the opposite sex a little better.
A party is a great place for meeting new people and exchanging small, inexpensive gifts.
